Wedding Of The Year

Yeah.. this is such a grand wedding in our family. All the VVIPs were invited including the Sultan and Sultanah of Kedah. All of us were busy since the day before.

The rehearsal for the ceremony ended at late midnight and in the morning of the day we had to prepare the last minute here and there. It was raining – quite heavy in the afternoon. My aunty was really worried. Luckily the rain stop before all the VVIPs arrived.

The food for the kenduri was deliciously awesome. It was the famous Nasi briyani Mat Shah Batu Pahat. The cook personally came to cook for the kenduri. Everything went well and lots of people turned up.

I was like orang penting ah.. I and my other aunty carried big handbag standing behind my uncle, aunty. Hahahahahha.. lenguh kaki diri lama but best nengok orang duk salam keruk!!

So after all the VVIPs and guests left, all of us berangan taking photos sitting on the pelamin.. Ye lah dolu dolu kahwin tak merasa macam ni…. :)

Anyway.. congratulations again to Dhaniah and Adzim. Semoga berbahagia dan kekal selamanya..

Dhaniah's Wedding Day

Today is a special day for my lovely cousin – Dhaniah. I was in Alor Setar since last Thursday. My aunties came from Johor n all my brothers came back for this special day.

At 3.00pm all of us departed from my aunty’s house to Masjid Zahir, Alor Setar for Dhaniah’s akad nikah ceremony. Dhaniah looked so gorgeous n beautiful in her white dress. In the mosque there waited his handsome husband to be – Adzim.

Though Adzim looked a bit nervous he still managed to lafaz the akad smoothly. Alhamdullilah the ceremony went well n Dhaniah is now married. Yeah.. the little cute Dhaniah that I’ve seen from small now dah besar panjang n dah jadi isteri orang!! Hmm… macam tak percaya je..

Hmm… that’s the hint that I am now old. I am truly happy for you Danny. Now you are already somebody’s wife. I will miss you a lot. You have been such a good listener to me hearing all my babblings n craps all this while.

Well.. things change but I hope the bonding that we have together will be remained forever. You can always count on me and I always your big sister if you need me.

To Dhaniah, I wish you all the best of life today and the days to come. May you love and hold each other in the worst of times with trust, faith and belief. Wishing you a wonderful beginning, and love to last a lifetime and happily ever after.

Happy Father's Day

We celebrated the Father’s day in Malacca since Faizah is back for her short holiday. I baked hubby’s favorite cheese cake n we ordered pizza.

The children got presents n cards for their daddy. Though it was a simple celebration, all of us enjoyed it so much.

I would also like to wish Happy Father’s day to my beloved father. I dedicate this lovely poem to my father n my husband.

Fathers are Wonderful People

Fathers are wonderful people
Too little understood,
And we do not sing their praises
As often as we should...

For, somehow, Father seems to be
The man who pays the bills,
While Mother binds up little hurts
And nurses all our ills...

And Father struggles daily
To live up to "HIS IMAGE"
As protector and provider
And "hero or the scrimmage"...

And perhaps that is the reason
We sometimes get the notion,
That Fathers are not subject
To the thing we call emotion,

But if you look inside Dad's heart,
Where no one else can see
You'll find he's sentimental
And as "soft" as he can be...

But he's so busy every day
In the grueling race of life,
He leaves the sentimental stuff
To his partner and his wife...

But Fathers are just WONDERFUL
In a million different ways,
And they merit loving compliments
And accolade of praise,

For the only reason Dad aspires
To fortune and success
Is to make the family proud of him
And to bring them happiness...

Snippets

Cewah.. title dah mcm Tun M punya blog je.. :) It has been more than a week that I haven’t updated my blog. I am pretty occupied with my daily activities. It is the endless with to do this and that. My children’s school is having many activities before end of term. It is as usual concerts and concerts.

Nabila then busy with almost every week birthday party to attend. She has another party this weekend. Bersosial sungguh…. Nadira has just finished her final term exam and currently in Singapore for her school trip.

I’ve promised to myself (sort off lah…) to stay at home to finish with my beads on the baju kurung and also baking Dhaniah’s wedding kek lapis. Time is just getting shorter n shorter each day. Running here and there, doing this and that only then I realized it was almost night time.

I also have long lists of plans what to do. I wish I could have more time and energy.

By the way I’ve lots of stories to updates and I promise it will be soon. Insyaalah..

The Strong Man

This morning I went to see Hakeem’s class show. This was the last show for the end of their term. The show was about Circus. Hakeem was selected to be a STRONG MAN. He with his other two friends has to do weight lifting in front of the audience.

Couple of weeks before all of us in the house designed for him the dummy weight lifting. He was very excited when we brought it to school. This morning Hakeem kept reminding me not to forget to come and watch his show.

The show was hosted by his class teacher n performed by all the learners from Year 1. It started with the acrobatics, balancing on the tight rope, ball jugglers, magician, strong man and clowns. All the learners did their excellent jobs as the show was truly entertained.

When it comes to Hakeem’s turn, Ms Andrea announced “Ladies.. hold your breath n gentleman.. hold your ladies tight as we are going to see the strong man on earth!” Three of them walked out proudly posing here and there showing off their muscles.

They were such an awesome kids as they pretended so well lifting up the 100kgs weight. I could hear the applause n screaming from other students.

Huh… Hakeem lagi lah beraksi n show off lebih2.. I really enjoyed the show. Well done Hakeem my strong boy.
